Avani Kalutara Resort

5* hotel booked to end our trip in style. Bar staff and cleaners were super happy, polite and love to great the guests in the hotel. Reception staff were generally unhelpful. I tried to book activities and excursions, but was initially told to go the hotel next door before being given a random book While trying to sort late check out one receptionist began serving another customer over my head. Late check out was eventually agreed to which was helpful but after being sat face to face in silence for minutes. Facilities are wonderful. Nice private beach, great pool area. Two bars and buffet style restaurant with ala carte option. Locals got charged significantly less for our event dinner. Some would say that's fair, others would disagree, but not being transparent probably suggests it was trying to be hidden. Service wasn't 5*. When we arrived our bedding was ripped and had a huge hole in it. Thankfully this was fixed, but I think atleast 2/3 people came to check before it was resolved.

Luxurious hotel with impeccable service. Comfortable rooms, and outstanding amenities. The staff is attentive, and the dining experience is superb. A truly five-star stay.

Stayed for 12 nights. We found the hotel to be very clean. We opted for half board, the food was very varied and delicious. The restaurant staff were very attentive in fact all the staff were friendly Ananda from room service certainly went out of his way for us and was brilliant. The pool men were very good providing extra dry towels coming out of the pool

We stay in this hotel for four nights . The hotel staff created a wonderful relaxing atmosphere from the first moment. The special compliments to Pryiantha, who suprprised us every day with small pieces of art in our room. The environment of the hotel is very pleasant, with many works of art, a lot of nature. Ocean on one side, lagoon on the other side. Food was very tasty and lot of varieties were there. We are happy that stay here :) !

We had a fantastic stay at Avani Kalutara Resort. Special thanks to the exceptional service from Front Office Executive Ashan. He was professional, welcoming, and always ready to assist, making check-in seamless and our stay comfortable. His hospitality truly stood out. Also huge thanks to Prasad (bell captain), for his warmest attitudes. The room was always spotless, well-organized, and refreshed daily with great attention to detail. Special thanks to Nemal for this great job. The dedication and friendliness of the hotel personnel truly enhanced our holidays. Thank you all. I highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel is really nice. According to tje standards. Chef Nipuna, chef Ruwan, Tharindi make our stay more memorable and we enjoyed a lot. The restaurant staff and the room boys are doing a great job. My husband willy loves their food and service. Highly recommonded this hotel
